i've always considered myself a renaissance woman of the shopping world, in the sense that i am interested and curious about anything and everything you can buy. i'll shop for apparel, jewelry, shoes, cars, pet products, food, wine/liquor/beer, home decor, garden design, sports/outdoors, the best shower gifts and more, you name it and i'll shop it.

one of my favourite things to read each month is the "hottest new items" in a magazine which inspire me to see and shop for what's new. my hope is that this site will become the home of (ymo) favourite things that will truly delight!

I just received these adorable flats from Anthropologie.com and I can't wait to add them to my outfits as a pop of color. For real leather, this price was fairly reasonable as well: $98.

1st Post: (M) Favourite Things

As Maria sings in the Sound of Music: These are a few of my favourite things! I thought I would share a few of my most favourite things I enjoy on a regular basis. They are in no particular order and of course, my husband is at the top of the list, but he's not really shoppable ;)  
  1. My sweet puppies. Both are adopted terrier mixes with the most adorable personalities. I found Jackson (tan/white) on petfinder.com and I recommend this site to anyone.

  3. Black tights - good to wear with everything and comfy too! Hue footless opaque tights are some of the best.
  4. Wearing a Kate Spade bag any day, it makes every day feel special. My collection started by purchasing a bag 60 - 70% off at one of her outlets. The quality is still outstanding but the value is even better. Watch for sales online too, if you do not have an outlet nearby. katespade.com

  6. Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered pomegranate seeds. These items fill the need for chocolate, while being light enough to not make you feel all sugared up after eating them. Look for them at a store near you. http://www.traderjoes.com                              Dark Choc Pomegranate Seeds
  7. Any Coldplay album - their newest, Mylo Xyloto is a true delight (but too short, in my opinion). I think if I had a soundtrack to my life, I would like them to sing it. http://coldplay.com/
  8. Our black, 4-door Jeep wrangler. It is truly a blast to drive and created an alter-ego for me: professional business woman by day; crazy outdoor and lover of fun by night. 
  9. Victoria's Secret Soothing Lip Balm - I use this every night for ultimate lip moisturizing and during the day also as it gives a nice glossy look to your lips. My favorite is Soft Petal.
